Best budget audio interface in 2026?

Setting up a first home studio on a tight budget. Mostly recording vocals and acoustic guitar. Is the Scarlett Solo still the move, or has something better come along under $150?
Don't need a ton of inputs, just clean preamps and low latency.

Scarlett Solo 4th gen is still the safe pick at that price. The newer ones have better headroom.

If you can stretch a little, a used Apollo Solo shows up around $180 and is a big step up.

For vocals + acoustic, the Solo is genuinely all you need. Spend the difference on a mic.
