• What is MoryAudio, exactly?

  Open infrastructure for music. Artists publish, listeners discover by searching and sorting, smart contracts pay. We do not curate, recommend, rank, or guarantee revenue. We host the rails — musicians and listeners run the rest.

• How do I sign in?

  Use Google or Apple on the sign-in page. Wallet linking happens after sign-in via SIWE — one signature, no transaction, no gas.

• Why do I need a wallet?

  A self-custody wallet lets you send and receive voluntary MORY tips (peer-to-peer) between members. Event tickets are handled by each organiser's own ticketing, and listening to music never requires a wallet.

• How do tips work?

  If a listener chooses to tip you, they send MORY directly from their own wallet to yours. Your published split is suggested guidance shown to the listener — not an enforced rule. MoryAudio does not custody, transmit, process, or guarantee any transfer. There is no platform fee on user-to-user transfers, and a play results in 0 MORY received unless a listener voluntarily tips.

• Do you decide which artists get featured?

  No. There is no editorial team and no recommendation algorithm. All discovery surfaces (Browse, Charts, Genres, Search) order content by mechanical signal: chronology, total play count, alphabetical, or your own sort selection.

• Is my listening data private?

  Yes. We hash your IP with a salt before storing, never share raw IPs, and aggregate playback rows after 12 months. See the Privacy Policy for details.

• How do I report a copyrighted track?

  Send a DMCA notice to dmca@moryaudio.com (procedure at /legal/dmca). Verified notices freeze the track within 24 hours.

• Can I download tracks for offline play?

  Offline mode arrives in Phase B alongside the mobile apps and Premium subscription tier.

• What is MORY?

  The utility token used in MoryAudio — for voluntary peer-to-peer tips between members. Issued on Polygon. Token holdings carry no guarantee of value, and MORY is not offered as an investment.

• I'm an artist — how do I publish?

  Apply at /artist-apply (Phase A: instant demo onboarding; Phase B: KYC + identity verification). Once approved, /studio/release/new runs you through the release wizard. Splits are configured by you; on-chain commit is planned for a later phase.
