DMCA Safe Harbor

MoryAudio is a "service provider" within the meaning of 17 U.S.C. § 512(k)(1)(B) and qualifies for the limitations on liability provided under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA Safe Harbor"). This page describes our designated agent, our repeat-infringer policy, and the conduit nature of our service.

Designated agent

Conduit nature

MoryAudio's role with respect to user-uploaded audio is limited to:

• Hosting on our infrastructure (R2 + IPFS).
• Streaming to listeners via HLS / DASH.
• Running automated copyright + AI fingerprint pipelines.
• Providing search + sort surfaces.

We do not:

• Pre-screen or curate content for editorial purposes.
• Modify uploaded recordings beyond technical normalisation (LUFS, transcoding) which the user opted into.
• Recommend specific works editorially.
• Retain any direct financial benefit attributable to specific infringing activity.

Repeat infringer policy

Accounts with three sustained takedown findings within 12 months are terminated. Their wallet may be flagged across the platform. This policy applies regardless of subjective rights-holder negotiations.

Counter-notice

If your content was wrongfully taken down, you may file a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Restoration occurs within 10 business days unless the original claimant files a court action. Counter-notices require:

• Your full name + contact details.
• Identification of the material and the URL where it appeared.
• Statement under penalty of perjury that the takedown was a mistake or misidentification.
• Consent to the jurisdiction of (a) your federal district court, or (b) Seoul Central District Court if you are outside the U.S.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

EU + KR equivalents

For European Union complainants, the same email address handles Article 17 notices under the Copyright in the Digital Single Market Directive. For Korean rights holders, Copyright Act Article 103 takedown requests are processed equivalently.
